King Edward VII Memorial Hospitals delivers emergency, acute, inpatient, outpatient and long term care services and is the only full-service hospital on the island from its facility at the corner of Point Finger Road and Berry Hill Road. Whether you fall ill or get hurt unexpectedly, or need diagnostic or outpatient treatments, our mission is to deliver the safest, highest quality compassionate care to you, every day.

 

In the Acute Care Wing (Point Finger Road access), services include emergency, diagnostic imaging, oncology, dialysis, surgery, outpatient clinics and inpatient units.

 

In the General Wing (Berry Hill Road access), services include maternity, the Intensive Care Unit, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mammography and ultrasound, cardiac diagnostics, wound care and hyperbaric services, laboratory, blood donation, day hospital and long term care units.

Emergency Department (KEMH): Go here for severe or life-threatening conditions (e.g., chest pain, severe shortness of breath, major trauma, stroke symptoms, major fractures). Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre (St. George's): Ideal for non-life-threatening conditions such as minor cuts, sprains, minor burns, insect stings, or minor infections. How many visitors are allowed at a bedside?

To maintain a safe and peaceful healing environment, a maximum of two visitors at a time are permitted at each patient bedside. Visitors must check in at the nursing station upon arrival on the unit.

Are hospital services covered by local insurance?

BHB accepts major local insurers , as well as government plans (HIP, FutureCare). Co-pays and non-covered services are due at the time of service or discharge.

What should international visitors do if admitted?
